ABOUT ME!

 

Hello, I am Barnabas Babington a highly motivated, reliable and hardworking individual currently studying Media and Communications, specialising in Music Industries at Birmingham City University, in my final year. This is my music and media portfolio to showcase my works.

From a young age I have had a strong passion for music and the industry. I’ve always wondered how the industry works, how musicians make music. I love the behind the scenes and contractual side of music, as well as the pre-production and production of music. Marketing and promotion is another integral part of a musician as well as branding. While at times I have expanded my skills when it comes to different sectors in the music industry and I now have a greater understanding of how it works. I have ambitions of owning my own artist management company,with, Empire Management, QUALITY CONTROL MUSIC (QC), ROC NATION, BAD BOY RECORDS etc, being some of my inspirations.

I have just started my own independent company while in my final year at university. My companies aim to establish up and coming young talent based mainly in the Midlands and within 5 years we aim to be nationwide with offices in the capital. We want to stand out from the rest and we aim to by working with artist from the ground up. Filming and editing music videos for free and always paying for videos we believe have the real potential to be a success. Our message is in our name "Nothing But Success" we will not aim for nothing but success and we install that mentally design in all our artist and clients. Legal sides of owning our name is currently being worked on the dream is becoming a reality. We are currently working with graphic designers to design a groundbreaking website that shows off what we do, and what our artist do. We are also currently working eye catching Logo.
